Here come some Easter freebies for you! Maybe you have a little gift that you would like to wrap? Or you just need a “Happy Easter!” tag for your Easter chocolate or for a bouquet of tulips? Here come for you two free downloads to print your Easter gift wrapping paper and “Happy Easter!” tags.
Free print sheet for Easter gift wrapping paper
At the end of this post you can download a free print sheet for Easter gift wrapping paper and for “Happy Easter!” tags. The Easter gift wrapping paper has watercolor dots in fresh spring colors. You can of course use that paper also for any other occasion where you would like to wrap something. It has no Easter elements, so is timeless and works just as well as wrapping paper for a birthday gift.
The “Happy Easter!” tags are hand lettered with a brush pen. They go nicely with the wrapping paper, but they also work great alone. For example tied with a ribbon around a glass filled with chocolate eggs, attached to an Easter basket or a bouquet of spring flowers.
Easy steps to get your tags ready:
- Print the sheet “Happy Easter Tags” (preferably on thicker paper e.g. 150 g/m2)
- Cut along the outline
- Punch out the circle mark
- Cut a piece of twine or ribbon
- Attach the tag wherever you like
Some fun Easter activity
If you are looking for some fun Easter activity, how about coloring some eggs? I saw two great tutorials on tea-stained Easter eggs. The first one is from Flying Fawn, a company based in Cologne in Germany. On their Facebook page you can find a tutorial on making DIY concrete eggs (original title DIY Dienstag Betoneier). The text elements in the video are in German, but since they also show the steps I think it is also easy to follow if you don’t know German. The second one I saw was on thirstyfortea.com. The post is from 2016 and is called dyeing eggs with tea. In that post you can find inspiration on coloring eggs with different teas or turmeric powder.
